Known as one of the finest mid-sized presses ever made, the Farley 25 self-inking proofing press was manufactured by Farley Engineering Ltd. in Croydon, England.
Unfortunately very little information is available on these once popular presses as well as the Croydon based company. As soon as the digital typesetting age took over from the traditional printing methods many of these fabulous machines were simply discarded or sold for scrap metal and today very few of them remain in working condition.
Linecasting Printing Services acquired this well used and rather run down model and painstakingly resorted it back to its former glory. It is now the main working press at Fresh Lemon Print… enjoying being put through its letterpress paces once again!
